Oh my god. This whole story so far has been brilliant, but Naru breaking up with Gene's girlfriend (how ridiculous does that sound) is super hilarious! Nothing can top that, like, ever!

This is a very funny, and I mean funny, way of getting to know Gene. Ahahaha, the break up with his girlfriend, and the dumping chapter was just too hilarious. XD couldn't stop laughing on that one. It's just sad that it had to come to an end though.

... I didn't read this when I got the email notification, "oh, I'll do that later .." and I'm kinda ashamed of myself now for waiting. I loved this chapter just as much as the rest! If not more. Something about this ... just something. His summary of the passage of time, how he begins to forget what happened in the earlier months. And the way he signed off! OHMYGOD, you're killing me. Eugene Davis. You are truly the greatest person in the world. Life is fleeting. Enjoy it while you have it. Let us bask in the warmth of the sun while it is here, for it may never rise tomorrow.

..also Gene trying to grow a mustache and Noll giving him this look and wondering "seriously wtf Gene" is probably my new favorite headcanon. That's going to make me smile all day...

Nooooo! What..? Wh-why... You...

Dude, I don't know. I want to kiss you for coming back because I seriously miss you and your writing, but then this happened. And now I want to throttle you for doing this to me. First RaisedonRadio announced that terrible, terrible announcement, and now you did this without any announcements at all and wow my heart is breaking.

Truthfully, I hate you for summarizing all those events. It was like you were dangling two tons of dark chocolate (with 56% cocoa) in front of me, but telling me I could only lick it. Once. It was that torturous to read how amazing those events would have been if only I got to experience them fully!

...

...Okay. I've calmed down now. Somewhat. I ran to the fridge and swallowed a fistful of dark chocolate (with 56% cocoa) and choked on the sheer bitterness mashed with effin sweetness. I dunno if I'll ever do that again. I've experienced the pain of Toncilitis as a kid. I don't think I want a repeat.

Um. I'm digressing. Anyhoo, now that I mentioned it, reading this last chapter was like that; like swallowing a fist full of dark chocolate (with 5 - eh, you already know). Bittersweet, but with more of the bitter. Well, you can't really expect me to do a happy dance about this chapter, right?

So, now that I realized how long (and how utterly rant-like) this is turning out to be, I shall stop myself here.

But not until I say a few things first. Hehe. Sorry.

With the curtains closing around 'Trespassing', I do hope another act follows soon! I don't think I can go that long without reading your beautiful work again! (If you pull that on me again, don't expect me to be polite anymore and NOT flood your inbox.) And, in my opinion, I don't think you should give another journal to Gene. You've already tagged a finish line to this story, you shouldn't do the same thing again. (An epilogue or a little side-story would be nice though.) I know you can create a much greater story than 'Trespassing' in the - near, I hope - future!

And lastly (seriously, this is the last), even if I wasn't the 130th reviewer, please please please let me have the prompt! I'll even beg on my knees if you want! And and and, it doesn't have to be a one-way deal! I can, um, writeyouaoneshot too if you want. (Though I wouldn't blame you if you don't want that, only crap runs through my brain these days, therefore I can only poop crap stories nowadays.) Somewhat like a Christmas exchange, perhaps?

Words cannot explain how hard this chapter made me laugh. xD I really enjoy Gene's view on things as it's so rare to read a whole story from his POV.

Please keep writing this is absolutely worth it.

I love this collection of stories... I read all of them in a couple sittings over two days. I don't usually go for drabbles especially, but these are a little more cohesive and tied together, which I like a lot. I like the journal idea. Your characterizations of Noll and Gene is just too perfect... just lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Weird, whose memory was that?

This is beautiful, of course. I was - dare I say - blown away. I was confused at first. "What the hell's happening?" "Who is that girl?" "Did Gene find someone to be with in the afterlife?" "Is that even possible?" "WHAT." I had so much more stupid questions a while ago, but I don't think you'd want to hear them haha.

But still. The suspense. It was killing me. I had to keep myself from reading ahead!

I wonder who the couple Gene has dreamt about. I wonder how Gene copes with the numerous deaths he has endured. I wonder if Noll endures them with him.

I wonder what kind of dream Gene would have if he falls asleep reading a math book.
