You could always say that asgardians age much slower that humans and that there's time flux going on with parallel dimensions and time progresses quicker for the first party than it does for the second. (I'd still be slightly AU but it would help explain a bit)

I hope you haven't given up on this because I really like it.

P.S. i love the way you write loki, it really seems like he is kind of confused with all this modern stuff, but also is curious about it and wants to know more. And it seems he almost has a crush on a certain red haired mortal.*wiggles eyebrows suggestively*

I love this chapter, especially when Loki and Thor where of the hunt. Raine is so cute, it was adorable when she though she could be invisible. Definately was worth the wait and I like the length of it.
