This was perfect! Everyone was so intensely IC that I loved it. I never imagined an AU like this. You did a great job. The ending was too sweet.

Anyhoo:

I really enjoyed this. The story transitioned smoothly and the dialogue felt natural. Oh, and you get bonus points for merman!Tintin. This is a good example of why I keep reading (and being motivated to write) fanfic.

I don't like how people make tintin and captain haddock gay. It puts a whole new light on how I think about tintin. You tell a lie often enough it begins to sound like the truth. Tintin lovers, you can be happy to know that the real cartoon tintin is most certanly NOT gay! All those sex stories you read about him are written by CREEPS! Tintin is a polite, cheerful, adventurous, reporter who has an apretiation (bad spelling, sorry) for nature, art, music, and culture. And he stands up for what is right. SO DON'T WRITE TINTIN SEX STORIES OR YOU ARE CONSIDERED A CREEP!

Normally I'm not a huge fan of AU, but I do like your writing style in general so I thought, hey, might as well check it out. :) I was not disappointed!

Haddock's blustery temper is portrayed perfectly here, as is Skut's awkward grasp of English and Allan's cruelty. Tintin as a merman is an interesting concept and I was pleasantly surprised how well it syncs with the more traditional fit of the other characters.

Keep it up! I enjoyed it very much.
