I like and appreciate the real emotions and experiences you share that you weaved into the story. I am also happy to hear everything turned out. Oh I believe the emotions would boil over for Severus. Guys do cry and in this situation it would have been cold and odd if he didn't have any emotions if he cared and trying to be there for them.
