Snooky chapter 1 . 1/14/2013 Just reread this. What a riot! Made me think they should have called the guys from MASH 4077 for help with the still. |
PBIceCream chapter 1 . 1/14/2013 *Laughs* That was great, and I could easily see it as an episode, thank you! |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/2/2012 For pretty much the last month I have been doing a lot of Hogan's Heroes fanfic reading, and I must say this has got to be one of my favourite comedy pieces! Had me laughing the whole way through - you captured Hogan, Klink and Hochstetter so well and the story was just perfect! Thanks for the laugh! :D |
snowleopard13 chapter 1 . 6/5/2012 Lol all that for home made schnapps. I'm a beer drinker myself. A good microbrew and I'm happy. I like how Hogan is so calm around Hochsetter during his interogation. You did very well with how Hogan handled Klink over the whole matter. Very in character. Nice story keep writing. |
80sarcades chapter 1 . 5/26/2012 A little home-made hooch, a lot of trouble:-) Not what I was expecting, either! Nicely done! |
Canadian Hogan's Fan chapter 1 . 5/25/2012 And so begins the Hogan/Hochstetter relationship. I love the ending to this, it suits the story's mood perfectly. I must say, I'm envious of your ability to write Hogan/Klink and Hogan/Hochstetter interaction (I think I may have said it before, but I mean it.) You do it the best of anyone else I've read on the site Great story. |
jediyam chapter 1 . 5/24/2012 Felt like I was reading an episode, great job! |
snooky-9093 chapter 1 . 5/22/2012 "No, that's in the weekend edition," said Klink. "Not that I read it, of course." "Gee, that's a tough one," mused Hogan. "How many letters is it?" ROTFLOL this is so good it needs to be made into an episode. And the ending was the icing on the cake. |
buggleston chapter 1 . 5/21/2012 Wonderful story! Loved the way Colonel Hogan manipulated both Hochstetter and Klink to his advantagedbut to find out the culprits were in Barracks 2 after all ! To think it wasn't a Homemade bomb but a homemade brew of Schnapps of all things excellent had me laughing hard ! Very enjoyable for you have all your Character to a tee Feels like classic (HH) for me! |
Goldleaf83 chapter 1 . 5/21/2012 Oh how hilarious! I knew when I read the second sentence exactly who was speaking: it follows so well from that opening line. You really capture Hochstetter’s voice well there, as well as when he storms around in the rest of the story. Hogan too: I swear I could just hear all the right intonations in his teasing conversation with Hochstetter (guaranteed to drive a Gestapo agent up a wall in less than five minutes!), and in his cheerful manipulation of Klink, plus his scolding of his men at the end. The four interviews form a great structure within which to explore the mystery. I was suspecting the answer before the story got to it – but I only anticipated the revelation by a few lines, which tells me you’d accounted for it in the early part without giving away the surprise. A great story idea to develop from that prompt! |
