Wren Truesong chapter 22 . 2/7 so i've kind of been rocketing through all of these because i love them all so bloody much and just want to enjoy them all immediately but i had to stop to tell you how much joy this all brings. Your plots are beautifully and marvellously twisted and your humour spot on, and i love all the characters so much. I was even able to be proud of Rose at the end, and get the good bits back. Well done. |
Heather Snow chapter 22 . 7/1/2018 Had to log out to comment again. I'm still loving the Oracle 3 years later. I'd love it if you wrote some of her stories with the Eleventh Doctor (and the other New Who Doctors) in the alternate universe. |
FandomFixtureForever chapter 1 . 5/15/2018 Damn it! The Oracle is splendid. I loved her interactions with the Doctor. I'm loving her as well which is brillaint cause I haven't watched the old Doctor Who. Tiny Time Lady ears! Take your pick as well XD Ginger Time Babies. Does more even need to be said? Brilliant chapters so far! Weird... Nope! What I would do to have the scene where Eleven and Rose and the Oracle meet on a screen... Calling him Eleven now sort of reminds me of Stranger Things. Huh. Anywayyyy... Great chapters! |
FandomFixtureForever chapter 1 . 5/14/2018 A Burka XD Starbucks abroad the TARDIS. That ship can never ever cease to amaze us. Well, never say never ever I suppose. Great chapter! |
helloprilly chapter 22 . 2/22/2016 YAY! I wish you had written 11's time on trenzalore rather than moffat. Well done! Love this au to pieces. Even tho I hate Rose I love that you gave her a chance at final redemption and she bloody well took it! I hope there is more crossover mayhem soon |
LaureaDaphne chapter 22 . 10/3/2015 I really love this universe you've created! It's been delightful to read. I like the different paths you've envisioned for the different Doctors in the parallel worlds, and I really like the different family members you've written. I especially like Zara and Lydia - they have a lot of distinct personality! It did get a bit confusing about which character was which at times, but I could usually more or less figure it out. The only real problem I saw was about Rose - not that you turned her into a villain, but that so many of her actions came from brain damage and the resulting mental deterioration. And I don't think you ever spelled it out, but it looked like the Silence were also preying on her condition to hypnotize her into being worse. That kind of backstory made her seem like a victim, not a villain, and once I'd read that, it felt like she didn't deserve the casual mockery and cruelty from the other characters. But Rose isn't really the point of a Doctor/Donna saga like this. Overall I really enjoyed the whole series! |
Heather Snow chapter 22 . 7/16/2015 This was good. I really hope you'll write some stories some time about the Doctor and the Oracle, especially in the other universe because I'd love to see her adventuring with the more recent Doctors. You brought her character to life, and her dialogue with the Doctor was just wonderful. |
Heather Snow chapter 4 . 7/16/2015 That last scene with Amy and Rory is beautifully written. |
DarkBalance chapter 21 . 5/26/2015 The sequel to this story... what's it? I'd love to know more about their family, and maybe even John's family too. |
Mary chapter 22 . 8/2/2014 I don't remember seeing a sequel on your authors page :( hopefully I just overlooked it. I love that the action was already over and this chapter was dedicated to setting things right and showing where everyone leaves off including some unanswered questions. Thanks so much for explaining away River's future role in their life in a way that wouldn't make me want to scratch my eyes out. I don't think my poor heart could take her being the Doctor's future girlfriend. And yay to Donna's extended life although I always thought that was a given when she recovered so quickly from the stun by Ellis during Zara's first kidnapping. I especially like that after all she'd been through Lydia got to carve out her own chance at finding happiness and acceptance, and this way she's in the same universe as her parents. I don't think I can ever adequately express how much I enjoyed not only this story but all the stories that came before. I even read each and every one of your author notes, something that I've almost always skipped over in every story, in every fandom that I read in. I don't even regret that I stayed up so late, unwilling to tear myself away from this story that it'll be daylight in about two hours time. It was so worth the sleep deprivation. |
Mary chapter 21 . 8/2/2014 I wonder what the surprise is. Glad Rose finally wised up but I hope the Doctor will not see her final act as something to feel guilty over, her sacrifice was the least she could do. |
Mary chapter 20 . 8/2/2014 Glad Lydia is doing the whole heroic thing but I'm scared for her. Everyone is all separated again and I'm not sure how confident I am in Rose being selfless or remorseful enough to do what's needed to make the key work. Also wtf Gallifrey is behind the whole Silence fiasco?! That's like the ultimate betrayal. |
Mary chapter 19 . 8/1/2014 So much going on. the TARDIS trusted Trevor because he is a Smith-Noble! The two Gallifrey's in cahoots together! The Oracle and Mayantha with a secret mission! So many things happening and we're almost to the end. |
Mary chapter 17 . 8/1/2014 So the other Oracle is still alive. What does that mean for everyone? I don't feel the least bit sorry for Rose, actually I think that once again Ten was too soft with her. Looks like its time for the rescue mission finally, maybe? |
Mary chapter 16 . 8/1/2014 That would certainly explain why Ten and John haven't interacted much but they should really hash that out. As much as I love Ten I'm on the Duplicate's side in this instance. Glad they finally captured Rose, I thought maybe all that time stranded on Demon's Run gave her a little sense but still seems crazy as ever. |
