No disrespect but you said the marriage would be short lived if he didn’t ban marriage it should be magic

I like the idea of this story but it does not hold up. Merlin has to marry because other kingdoms don't respect a queen. Once they get married suddenly she has an army that stands up to Camelot. They've known each other a week and they are so in love Arthur will forsake his duty to flee and marry her. Honestly I can't blame Uther for thinking he's enchanted. Also honestly Merlin was weak. She has powerful magic but is unable to defend herself or her kingdom at all. I can't claim I finished this story since honestly when the battle happened and Merlin was so useless as to be taken hostage by Uther I gave up. In addition to huge story problems already mentioned every conflict is resolved with no trouble just an ok that's how it is. Also honestly the writing itself was not great.

What was the point of making Merlin royalty if she gave her kingdom up? She and Arthur could have ruled BOTH kingdoms!

Don't get me wrong, I love this. But it is so weird to think of Merlin as a girl! AH! But I love it so far. :)

This is overall a great story with a unique plot, but I do feel the need to point one thing out. That thing is the conflict. I only skimmed the second half of the story to see if it got better, and it didn't. Throughout "Her Future King", problems seem to vanish to move the rest of the story along. For example, Merlin isn't a strong enough ruler by herself, so she gets married and the people who thought she was weak stopped fighting her. Uther won't let Arthur get married, so he moves to Cambia to marry Merlin and automatically feels like Cambia is his home after living there for a week (as opposed to 26 years of living in Camelot with his friends and family). Merlin and Arthur have a daughter first, and her rule would be contested judging by the other kingdoms' reaction to Merlin becoming queen, but that's completely fine since Arthur is just glad she exists. But I hope I didn't come off as offensive with this review, because I really do respect your (and the other fanfiction authors') courage in posting your work online for the world to see.

Beautiful. I usually dont read fem merlin stories. But im happy I read this one. I LOVED IT! *jumps up and down in childish manner* "YAY WANT MORE!"

I really liked how fluffy it was. The love sparked between the two was amazing. They fit like peanut butter and jelly.

What I love the most about this story is that Cambia is the spanish word for "change". That added a new layer to the story for me.

Why didn't Merlin take action with her own magic? And I thought she was supposed to be helping, how could things have gone so badly? You did see what Merlin did in the final battle of the series, right?

Merlin doesn't swear, in the original or any other fan fic I've read, including yours up to this point. So why did you have her swear?

She wouldn't have been bored, she would have been preparing for war! She is the queen after all. She should be stressed to the max, not bored.

great detail with the hand fastening, although that first bit about who was holding what crown was very confusing.

This seems way too smooth of sailing right now. There's not a lot of conflict to make it interesting.

I think Arthur would need to tell the smith what he wanted. Perhaps he could give the smith a drawing or something?

I like that you make Arthur shallow in the beginning. It gives his character room to grow.
