This gets even worse when you think about nature. Owls eat insects, sometmes fish, and small mammals. Bats are small mammals.
This is written really well, and gets very, very creepy.

Oh wow, this was wonderful! I love the insight into Cobb and the way you've written him here is perfect! Awesome one-shot! :)

I loved the part when Cobb said the Grey Son of Gotham - it made me immediately juxtapose it to the Dark Knight and the White Knight of Gotham. And not only that, it also made me think of how Dick, despite being raised by the almighty bat, never let go of his light - never allowed the darkness to consume him completely.

Also, as I was typing this up, I realized that you are even more brilliant. Grey Son - Grayson. The fact that I didn't immediately see it just goes to show how seamlessly this was slipped in there and how it really was a logical part of Cobb's thoughts. Even for just that alone, I salute you.

This was awesome! I was wondering if someone was going to mention this because when I read the new nightwing and William revealed that he could see their entire conversation, I was so shocked! Anyway, you did a great job with this one shot and I can totally see this actually happening! :)
