This is honestly the best Dydia Fic I have read so far. You have written both of them so well. Lydias character as well as Dereks. I love it. You really need to write more chapters to this. I think I might actually even like it better than closer, although this was a masterpiece as well.

On the one hand, it makes me sad that there are so few Derek/Lydia stories out there. On the other hand, the fact that an author as talented as yourself is one of the people writing for these two more than makes up for it. I love the pairing, especially the way you allow them to be vulnerable with each other. Neither of them does that easily, and yet, I believe your stories when they let one another in - even if just a little.
