idiotbx3 chapter 1 . 6/27/2016
Once again, love your writing. Not too fluffy, just right :)
Flynne chapter 1 . 8/12/2015
This was lovely. You've really got a knack for filling in the gaps with your stories. Loved the conversation with Samara, and of course the bit with Garrus was perfect.
aascdvfvifrbpgrfbr chapter 1 . 4/22/2014
I liked it a lot.
Especially how 'aware' you potrayed Garrus :)
Thanks for the story.
Author-Of-Sin chapter 1 . 3/16/2014
Wow. Very deep and definitely something that should've been a part of Shepard's struggle in the game. Excellent.
3 chapter 1 . 11/9/2013
I love how your stories reference things from past fics, Keep up the good work!
Laycelle chapter 1 . 7/16/2013
Okay, so I have been going through your stories every day since Miss LoquaciousQuark spoke of how beautiful you write Garrus and I have to admit: I have to agree with her 100%. Garrus personality is amazing in this, you bring him out in just the right way. Just the way you write him, oh girl! I loved this story. The way all the elements of emotions were broken out and was displayed. The dialogue was amazing between Garrus & Sheppard. I just really loved this story probably my favorite so far as I have read. I cannot wait to not read it for awhile & refresh my memory and relive how much I loved reading this story. Thank you :)
ivanesca chapter 1 . 1/10/2013
Your Garry is more than canon. Curse you and your wonderful fics!
MistEternal chapter 1 . 1/2/2013
Really really wonderful. Great, real writing. The emotion is so well done. I am loving all your stories. And I love that your FemShep has the same background as my FemShep who romances Garrus. :D
honeybadgerwrath chapter 1 . 10/28/2012
I don't know how I missed reviewing this before (as I'm quite certain I've read this before) but this was absolutely /gorgeous/. I do love how you (rightly) see that it wouldn't be a straight forward affair for a Commander like Shepard, let alone for a woman like her. To defeat a baby Reaper, to face what Cerberus did to her and all the possible things her death and resurrection could have taken from her. Of course the high and adrenaline building up to the assault on the Collector base would have let her avoid looking too deeply into herself, just as of course she would be left having to face it all when it was over.

Samara and Joker were certainly the most striking here, as where everyone else is celebrating they two (Samara unsurprisingly and Joker more surprisingly) understand the weight of all that's passed and all that's ahead. You quite captured what I love about those characters, particularly with Joker who has proven time and again that he does use his humor to mask his concern for Shep and his guilt for having survived her death.

And Garrus, oh Garrus. How stricken he is at the mention of 'meat and tubes' it's a little heartbreaking and completely understandable all at once, as he is so very devoted to Shep.

And yes, I do love how your stories all do unfold in the same mental 'verse as it does, in the most lovely and detailed way, weave them together into a whole 'nother world. Particularly as I'm a sucker for continuity and details.
Lady Aleynia chapter 1 . 10/8/2012
I'm not quite sure how I missed this story but this was as perfect as perfect can be.
roguelegacy chapter 1 . 7/13/2012
Love it! Beautifully written. Really liked the sentimental bit where Garrus lets his inner romantic out - very sweet. :) Thanks for sharing this.. It was a very good read!
LoquaciousQuark chapter 1 . 5/30/2012
HOW ARE YOU SO BRILLIANT. Seriously, I just do not know how you do it. Shepard is so marvelously real in this between her confusion and her frustration and your Garrus is as perfect as always. I can totally hear his voice in all his dialogue, and what's even rarer, in my (admittedly limited) experience, is that I can hear /Shepard's/ voice too. I think she's honestly one of the best Shepards I've seen as far as how closely her dialogue and inflection match her canon counterpart, but what amazes me is how much her own, unique personality comes shining through in spite of that. She really is one of the most human and most likable Shepards I've come across, and there are no words for how much I enjoy watching her interact with your Garrus.

And that's not even touching the plot of this fic, which, by the way, I adore. So often it feels like the little moments get lost in the huge grandeur of the whole saving-the-galaxy thing, but it's the little moments that can be the most overwhelming, and there are no words for how perfectly you nailed that here. You also pointed out something obvious that made me feel incredibly foolish for never realizing:

"She'd been running since the moment Miranda's voice cajoled her back to life. Shepard, do you hear me? Get out of that bed now. This facility is under attack.

Toward battle. Away from thought. Terrified of memory."

That was just. Ugh. Wonderful and heartwrenching and perfectly bittersweet. Again, thanks so much for sharing these!
BaiLia chapter 1 . 5/28/2012
Just so you know, there aren't nearly enough reviews for this story. It was lovely, tender and sweet and just a little bit bitter. You have Garrus down perfectly. I can't say you have Shepard down well or not - in my opinion Shepard is an intensely personal creation for each gamer. But for what if's worth, I like this Shepard.

Vertin chapter 1 . 5/16/2012
Again, I loved it. You write this kind of Garrus I like the most: a little smug, a little awkward, but also very supportive and adorable.
Stormflite chapter 1 . 5/14/2012
Interesting point to have this kind of introspection from Shepard. I like it. My favourite touch was her conversation with Samara; she is very much the only person there that really understood what Shep was going through. Great work!
