Fantastic! loved it

I'm kind of glad it took me so long to review this story, since that meant I had to re-read it. It's just as good as I remember.

The show tends to focus so much on the precinct that Castle's writing frequently gets pushed to the wayside. We don't get to see how much Beckett loves his books ,aside from some comments in season one. I really loved this, because I think that feeling Beckett has is exactly right. Plus, Castle would totally be inspired by that. I can just see it all. I wish I could have read how the deal played out, but this was still hot without seeing what happens next. (However, I'd still love to read the next part.)

It's one thing to be able to write well, which you definitely do. It's another to have something good to write about. You manage both every time. That's what makes you such a great writer.

Write more one-shots like this. It's happy, but it isn't fluffy to the point I want to puke. It's a fine line between the two. You're good at walking it.
