So this should have been canon. Although, I don't know why but it seemed like maybe RM and the crew were setting up the possibility of Jesse come back onto the show as a future Rachel love interest. God I wish it would happen, but probably not. They just built up our dreams only to dash them again. :'(

Besides that, this was an incredible one-shot. I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to read more of One Hand, One Heart. :D

This is so bittersweet, but I like that you left it open-ended and with so much hope for the future! I truly hope that something similar to this plays out in canon. But thanks for this lovely pre-emptive fix on Nationals 2012 - when RIB inevitably screw it up, at least we have this to come back to! ;)

Even though this is sort of bittersweet, I do wish it was canon (and I had to laugh at your disclaimer too...so true). I don't care what RIB try to tell me, Rachel and Jesse *will* be together in NY. Glad to see you had Jesse going to New York and that he was able to help Rachel. As much as I always want St. Berry together, I think him telling her to finish the part of her life that's still in Ohio was good. If only a certain part would *stay* in Ohio, right? Anyway, great story and I look forward to updates on your other story and to see what else you come up with :)
