Reviews for The Good Ol' Days
Writer-in-the-making16 chapter 1 . 6/19/2012
Witty, charming, oozing with family cuteness and simply put, brilliant. I enjoyed the concept of Aang's family coming to Republic City to live, and his interactions with Toph and Sokka. Those two..the years have only made them more hilarious. Also, cute Kataag bit with the 'last time' scenario, and Sokka's 'oggie' comment (hahaha, sigh, "oogies"). Great job on this. :)
Reed chapter 1 . 6/13/2012
I enjoy reading Taang fics even when it is just the friendship route. The interaction between the two was well written. All the characters seemed more mature though still maintaining their characterization in the original series. Also, I would like to point out that your Bumi incredibly adorable. Guess he was the Meelo in Aang's family..hahaha

Remember the good times when you read a good fanfic and went "Awww..."? Well, this is one of those times. Well done.
The Random PasserBy03 chapter 1 . 5/11/2012
(sniff) How lovely.

Despite being an adult, Aang is still something of a goofy kid. His train of thought and reaction of his friends-and their political and social standing-fits in well with both 'versions' of the Avatar world.

My favourite part:

Aang: The last time?

Katara: Yes, Aang. The last time.

Though a bit less 'traditional' in their pattern of speech, it was still a lovely oneshot.

Taditional in the sense that, only occasionally could I easily portray a particular character saying that particular phrase. Toph, however, was spot-on.
