Personally I think your story is a very refreshing change for fanfiction romance stories. It shows us that the main characters actually HAVE a life and feelings outside of their romance. Unfortunately many fanfiction authors seem to forget that important aspect. :(

I mean in romantic stories in general the characters should have some life goals outside of their love... Unless their dream is to be a stay at home parent for the rest of their lives of course. XD

Even if the romantic elements are the main focus of the story, it can become super annoying if it seems that the characters entire existence revolves just around their relationship; which easily makes them incredibly boring and one-dimensional characters. And sadly sometimes this is the case in Finder series too, both in the manga and fanfiction. :(

In my opinion the love story is written well if it's pretty easy for readers to imagine characters having lived their entire lives without ever even meeting one-another.

I just wish that Akihito would have remembered the time he spend with Keir. it would have proved that he is perfectly capable to be happy and to live his life even without Asami.

And actually I think in this story it would have been much more cooler if Akihito and Asami would have decided to stay apart at the end. I mean yakuza is a dangerous business and Asami still has many enemies. Realistically speaking Akihito will certainly die at some point if he continues to be involved with Asami.

I know that most of the readers want to read the same old cliche "love conquers all" happy endings. But without the happy ending (in a romantic sense) your story would have been even more unique.

Ugh! This story is amazing! The plot is fantastic and compelling. It is difficult to imagine Akihito and Asami living on without each other. I am curious but hesitant to see where you are going to take our VF lovers.

Oh my, all this time I was hoping that Akihito and Asami would come back together like in the manga. After this chapter, that seems pretty impossible since unlike the forced sexual encounter with Feilong, Akihito loves Keir back. Guess I shudda read the description closer. Read the first line and assumed any fic for Viewfinder would be AsamixAkihito. Really got me in the beginning, I thought the buildup was for their ultimate reunion. Darn, and such unique, refreshing, fitting humor as well as the bulk of chapters. I really should give the rest of this a chance but AsamixAkihito all the way for me, baby. I appreciate the more rare CharacterxOC fic, especially for Viewfinder. My gravest regret is that they won't be getting back together in this particular fic (it had such a nice plot too). Keir is nice and lovable, but I like the mean, cat-and-mouse teasing Asami did with Akihito. Love your humor and style!

All the snark in this, it was killing me the whole time. And the crack on shaving cream commercials prompted me to rewatch all the Old Spice ads, so thanks for that. Also... just, what the crack. xD This was just some of the crackiest stuff I've read, and I've read plenty of stories that don't make sense. Luckily for you, the copious snark made me forgive you for the CharacterxOC pairing, which normally would make me want to shoot someone's head off. So we're totally cool. Yay snark. :3

So bittersweet! The ending makes my heart ache a little, not in a bad way, just an achy, wishful way for them to see each other soon and then *be* together. They're both very human in this. I enjoyed your mix of humor and grittiness. I hope it's not the end! :)

Oh, How I always love story about Akihito growing up. But the humor is still the best. And, I’ve just know from google, those flavoured toothpicks actually real. They even have bacon flavor of it. Thanks for your hardwork.
