it's everyones' worst nightmare for spencer to actually develop schizophrenia in the series, but I love how you've portrayed him in this story. his actions seem a bit childish, I guess, but I loved everything. there isn't anything else I can really say. I felt like I was there or at least watching all of his actions and I loved it

I both LOVED and loathed this.
I, of course, loathed that Reid had diminished in any way, especially to his most feared illness; However, I ADORED that his 'family' still stuck to his side and Garcia made sure his every physical need was met by personally rigging his house. Then, the best part, that he was so happy!
You gave him a lot of tics, which since the meds tend to affect a person greatly, made sense. My ex-ma-in law, ran a home for 13 schizophrenics that was just across the alley from me an my then husband's house. Frequently a number of them would be in the alley smoking and/or just walking up and down. And peeking into my kitchen window to startle me when doing dishes, lol. Most were quiet. Some were very loud and prone to angry outbursts. I think I adore Reid's loving childishness best. :)
I'd actually love to read more in this AU. It is a horribly awful fate to contemplate, but you have really made me appreciate what all of Garcia's electronics can accomplish, and of course, what a difference a loving and vast family can make.
I'd love to have Morgan's voice be triggered by things that are more personal, and Hotch's for more urgent safety issues. And I think he needs a pet. LOl. I'm really quite into it. Bringing him out into the world would have so many story options.
Sigh, I guess I just love Spencer, no matter how I can get him.

I really loved the focus on Garcia and Reid's relationship. The fic itself is so different than anything I'm used to reading but it was good. I liked it.

A nice piece. I love Penelope setting all that up and her yelling reminders.
