This was interesting, but few things to point out. Why didn't Dean shock Sam when he did the CPR since he would be pretty much mashing the device too? Shouldn't Dean have let go of Sam's hand when Cas removed the device or if he didn't, (Which is stupid btw) he should have been shocked just as badly as Cas at least. How did Dean not get shocked when he pressed the device to the doctor, if the Dr. had his hand on Deans neck? Was he wearing gloved too? And if they were just regular surgical gloves then that would not prevent him from getting shocked. If this is early season 5, how'd Cas heal Sam's heart? He said in 5-02 "Good God Ya'll" that he lost his power to heal and didn't get it back until the end of 5-22 Swan Song.

Oh my goodness that made me hurt. Ouch! Awesome story and I love Cas helping out.

Great story

I know as little as you do about doctory stuff, but a shocking device being implanted into someone's chest seems reasonable. Especially when it doesn't matter if they live through it. Love your hurt!Sam and protective!Dean too.

Holy crap. This was freaking amazing! Seriously, it could have been it's own episode, the way everyone was so in-character and wonderfully written and scary/suspenseful yet epically awesome and just so perfect I want to sit here and read it all over again becauseit was that brilliant! So, in short, I absolutely loved this, it sent shivers down my spine in a couple of place, made me squee for joy when Dean killed that sonuvabitch and also want to just hug them all 'cos, well, yeah. Anyway, it was like watching an episode, I could see and hear all they're voices and it was just so perfectly written! I love this! Brilliant work!

and while I'm not a fan of Cas, I kinda liked him here... because he wasn't in the way, if you know what I mean... :)
but yes, awesome story... and man, poor Sam, but did totally satisfied my hurtSam!kink :)))) *grins*
