I thought this was a really well-written, constructed fic. It fits so nicely with the bits of canon while adding a bit more meaningful interaction between Mako and Korra without being uncharacteristic. Fluff that makes sense in context and very sweet, to boot. Also, kudos on your illustrations of water healing as well as the pro-bending! It's so very detailed and I really appreciated it.

I think Mako's eighteen, with Asami around the same age. Then Korra is seventeen and Bolin is like sixteen. It's his childish attitude that gets me, hehe.

Anyways, this was so dramatic! Like out of a movie! I was imagining those hits in slow motion and the pain on Mako's face. Then there's the attack and the kiss - definitely movie like. How I love this one shot so!
