batsbloodsoup chapter 1 . 1/29/2014
'"I think he just... told me to piss off." Sirius says slowly.'
'"Sort of hard to get pissed at something that looks like an angry cat when he puffs up." James shrugged.'
I laughed so hard at these lines, I thought I was going to suffocate from lack of oxygen!
Great work! :D
hounddoom chapter 1 . 6/13/2013

mcfuz chapter 1 . 12/18/2012
This was nice. I like how James was really random and stuff.
LMSharp chapter 1 . 11/12/2012
This is a pretty good characterization of Marauder kids, I think. I like angry leave-me-alone Remus. And I like Sirius being a jerk, and liking that Remus calls him on it. And I really, really like mad-hatter, subtly nice James. But I'm a sucker for James Potter any day.

Thanks for writing.
TechNomaNcer28 chapter 1 . 7/23/2012

Insomnical Whimsiac chapter 1 . 5/11/2012
Beaut. Lovely to see a proper unravelling of how these characters became friends, rather than just the fact that they all shared a room. Nicely done.
ArgentNoelle chapter 1 . 5/9/2012
This story is amazing and funny.
zechirator chapter 1 . 5/8/2012
Adorable! Just a hint - watch your tenses, you switched between past and present a few times (and not on purpose, as in during the memory)
RodentFace chapter 1 . 5/8/2012
The sad irony of that is that Remus outlived all of them. Anyway, this was highly amusing. I love how James kept trying to befriend Remus, but he kept missing it.

Best parts were:

...Remus slumps down on the bench between Lily and James, who seems to enjoy watching Lily quietly while she ignores his existence...

"I'm James Potter." He says, like this is something profound.

"Err…I know?" Remus says, quirking an eyebrow.

"You are Remus Lupin."

"I…am." Remus is getting more confused by the moment.

"Because we are at school. We have homework. One finishes homework through looking at the text book and putting the quill on the paper and doing this thing-with your hand- called writing, which I cannot do while you are in here, staring at me, and asking me why it is I am doing the things that I am doing with no apparent reason!"

"I think he just…told me to piss off." Sirius says slowly.

"I think he did too." James grins.

"No one tells me to piss off." He says in the same awed voice.

"Except Remus Lupin." James snags a muffin and hooks and arm around Sirius' shoulders.
