lol How have I missed this story until now? I liked the look into Gates as a person and their boss. Very nice. And the last few lines were golden. Of course Ryan would immediately know those quotes, geek that he is. :-)

Found your story while surfing for stories focusing on Ryan since that's where my next one is going to focus. This deserves all the high praise it has gotten. You capture both Ryan and Gates beautifully, a rare feat for Gates especially. Now that After the Storm is showing at least the hope for a better written and more likeable Gates I can only hope more fanfic writers will write her like you have. Nicely done!

Great story! The voices of each of these characters are perfect. I have never liked Gates, but this paints her in a more sympathetic light and rings true for her character. I loved the Dumbledore quote at the end! Enjoyed listening to your podcast (part I) with Nicole. So happy to have found your stories ... looking forward to reading all of them! Just wow. This is easily one of my favourite post always fic. It's sad that no one really gave Ryan credit when he was the biggest unsung hero that ep.

I was originally reluctant to read this cause it's not Caskett, but now that I have, I'm glad I did. It was a refreshing take on a plausible 'behind the scenes' scenario. Loved the way you captured the characters voices. And the dumbledore part- certainly unexpected and hence a very pleasant surprise! Keep up with the good work!

Why am I not surprised that Ryan instantly knew that was HP! Ha, this was great. I actually like Gates and I'm so happy with how you portrayed her in a few lines of description and dialogue.
