blackkitty95 chapter 1 . 12/3/2014 I honestly do not understand why you would ever think that this doesn't make any sense; it does and it's amazing. I love the idea of Loki being punished like that and Thor being the one to sew his lips. I like the fact that this fic is written in a rather vague way, without too many details. Also, FEELS. |

CodeLyoko chapter 1 . 11/15/2013 I love how you made it so Loki actually wanted to be silenced so he couldn't continue his lies. It was just beautiful. |

Self-Inflicted Insanity chapter 1 . 9/7/2013 Aww... it's so heart-wrenching and sweet the way you show that Loki and Thor still care for each other, and the hope of redeeming their relationship. I loved how in the beginning Loki is so tired of lying, of always having to speak for himself (which is just such an awesome point) that he's glad for the muzzle, cherishes his own silence, and how when the muzzle is taken off all these lies pour from his lips because he can't stop them - they're his armor, his weapons - he's called silvertongue for a reason, his talent for veining his words with causticity so that they drip with it, and he can't /not/. How he's almost glad for the stitches, even though by silencing his lies he doesn't have a chance to say truth - but then, does he know quite what the truth is, or have the ability to tell it? And the mental image of him brushing past Thor with hardly a glance, and then Loki tilting his head down to hide his bloodied lips from the sky, is just so... dklajfdlksjfkldjflkjds the feels I don't even know, but it was awesome. And all the memories interwoven into this just make it all the more bittersweet. And I think it's interesting here how Loki doesn't seem to hold all that much hatred and resentment, that he just kind of seems worn-out and tired, yet still broken and not completely sane... I'm guessing that Loki in this story wasn't really trying to conquer Midgard - that perhaps his ulterior goal was to get attention, and to get himself brought home. Okay, I'm not a Thorki shipper, but I giggled when Loki kissed Thor because I kind of loved that element of unexpectedness (because Loki is unpredictable) and how Loki was tired of hearing Thor talk and kissing him effectively made the thunderer speechless XD And the reason Thor disappeared was to find the right kind of blade in order to cut the special thread, am I correct? Awesome one-shot *-* Thank you so much for sharing! |
