The story is interesting so far.
Shizuka's team seems rather uninteresting and I get the feeling they won't last long. I kinda wish Shizuka gets put in team kakashi somehow.

I don't know why I thought Tenten and Shizuka being friends would affect placements, they're both kunoichi which are generally one per team, derp. Ah well, her team seems fun anyway :P

Oooh, friendship with Tenten, that has potential for when teams get decided. And trying to subtly help Hinata, that's sweet. Hopefully by the time Hinata graduates she's a little more self-assured.

This is looking really interesting. SI fics where the SI has no prior knowledge of naruto-verse are really hard to find, so I'm glad I found this one. Not to mention being born in the Hyuuga clan, now that's just fascinating.

Urrgh. I thought a SI story as a Hyuuga would be interesting because it is one of if not the most dysfunctional clan in Konoha, but the fact that your SI, a girl who comes from a democratic non warmongering society (well I hope that's where you come from), just accepts the shinobi way (as in die to protect your "country" aka "what's precious") just rubs me the wrong way.

And I'm not talking about being ready to kill or so, of course Shizuka hasn't yet come to tems with that part of the job, but she's already been brainwashed by the Hyuuga clan, case in point : she refers to Hinata as "hime", and considers her "precious", so someone she has to protect, meaning she's already placed the clan heiress' life above her own.

THIS is what disguts me about your fic. That someone from our world would accept a life of a slave (because that's what brarnch members are. SLAVES). Neji may be a bastard about it, but he's got the right idea, the clan system is WRONG.

I'm not saying Shizuka should hate Hinata, it's not her fault she was born into the main branch, but she shouldn't think of her as someone above her status that she should protect, because that's the feeling I get from her. Hinata's definitely not a friend to Shizuka, friends are equal, the fact that she wants to help and protect her, plus the "hime" title all but indicates she has accepted her status in the Hyuuga clan.

And as Shizuka has known a society that forbids slavery, I feel she should be a bit more sympathetic to Neji. But that's me being totally biased because Neji's ma favourite Konoha12 after Sasuke ;p

So please, stop it with the Hinata worshipping and Shizuka doormat attitude about her status, it's unbearable, I still want to read your fic, it has lots of potential!... Is what I'd say if you had updated your fic like at least less than year ago.
