Well, in one sense, it is a complete story. Though I love Clint Barton as much as any other fan and would of course love to see him here, the story doesn't need it. This is a really good story.

I am reading this and enjoying it many years after it was written. I discovered this collection of fanfic only a couple months ago and I am slowly reading all the Hawkeye stories. I'm off to chapter 2.

I really do wish you'd finish this one - it's very very good. Your writing style is lovely; clear and descriptive and very evocative.
I like the way you're drawing the characters; they're actually coming across as adults - which is a rarity in fanfic LOL.
The letters Clint was writing were an inspired idea, and the type of injury seems very appropriate. The way he landed just screamed back problems :)
