I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to get around to reviewing this. I don’t know what my problem’s been. But I’m here now!

This is most definitely a perfect oneshot for Father’s Day. It expresses the fatherly side of Bakura and shows his concerns about being a father, but one that his beloved daughter truly adores. Speaking of, Aaralyn is very cute, a most adorable child :D

It was good to see some of ‘Kura’s past and his and Kim’s early marriage. It gives us insight as to why ‘Kura cares so much for Aaralyn (other than being her biological father, of course), and it was a fun read.

I think this could still qualify as a BakuraXKim oneshot simply because you know the two of them are married and have a child.

I personally don’t believe this is out of character for Bakura at all. Through relationships, interactions with other people, and events in their lives, people (including characters) grow, adapt, and change. This still feels like ‘Kura to me, especially since you included so much of his thoughts on his own history.

Even though I personally don’t like Akefia (as I’ve told you before), it doesn’t bother me that you use it. It’s your opinion and your story. You can call him what you want.
But just a side note, it’s actually Touzoku, not Tozokou, and that’s not ‘Kura’s name, that’s part of his title. Touzoku means thief in Japanese, and the full title is Touzoku-ou, which means Thief King in Japanese.
A side note to that if you’re interested, Yuugi (which is the real spelling of Yugi’s first name) means game in Japanese, and Yuugi-ou (we spell it Yu-Gi-Oh) means King of Games.
So anyway, you probably don’t want to call ‘Kura Touzoku. Akefia is perfectly acceptable. Just thought you should know that.

Anyway, I enjoyed reading this, and when the muse returns, I look forward to reading more!

I think this is a very sweet concept. I like this side of ‘Kura that no one gets to see, and most people don’t think exists. I also really like that he holds onto something from his childhood, especially memories of his mother. And yay for Kim being pregnant so ‘Kura can sing to the unborn baby. Aralyn, right?

I’m sure I’ve told you this before, but I prefer Nakhti to Akefia.

Either way, it’s very cute and very sweet :D
