Excuse me whilst I crawl into a corner and die. Ripping apart my soul would be less painful than this. But honestly, this was so cuttingly heartbreaking and easily understandable. You are obviously an amazing writer, I love this, so so much. Thank you for writing this and giving me the chance to read it. That last line! Eek It was just perfect for the two of them.

I agree with everything - what you say in the Author's notes and what Sirius says in the text. I, too, would like to think that Sirius felt just a bit of guilt about Reggie's fate. He KNEW that he was weak and impressionable - he says it himself (at least that's what I get from his "soft" comment).

I love the last line, and the regret and guilt that Sirius feels. I started reading this fic thinking it would be a fluffy fic about Sirius comforting his little brother, but it took such a painful, moving turn, and i thank you for that.
