Good to see a new chapter again! Thank you so much for the update. I was concerned about Amalda's health but it seems like everything is ok with everybody, that's a relief. I love Ms. Stolp character, she is so sweet. Now I wonder if Willy can find Amalda soon.

I've missed this story! Good to see everyone's all right now. Charlie is certainly growing into his role as Wonka's successor by taking responsibility and writing to the candidates to apologise for the disastrous tour.
I also loved the reflections of both Wonka and Amalda as they think over that strange day and what it meant for them personally. Willy Wonka is definitely not used to feeling this way but I'm glad he's gone in search of Amalda - I'm curious about where she is too!

This is an interesting new angle on a great story. I wasn't sure about it at first but giving him a potential relationship with someone unconventional could work out nicely. Looking forward to more.

So great to read a new update! And I loved reading the full story of how Amalda got her ticket, her character feels fully fleshed out now (though she was still interesting before). Don't worry about update times, I'll still happily continue reading even if the next chapter comes out in another year :-)

Wow! I could hardly believe it when I checked my email and saw you'd updated! This story has been such a delight over the years, and this latest chapter was no different! I'm so delighted to finally be seeing the end of Mary Sue, and what a joy to see Charlie given the honors. I do really adore Ms. Stolp, and I'm so glad you've allowed her such a strong presence without letting her get sidelined by the tension between Wonka and Amalda (which is just soo good, ugh). I'm so glad to see a bit more of the growing friendship between Ms. Stolp and Amalda...and I can't wait to learn about the gorilla! Take all the time you need, though; I'm just so happy to have more of this wonderful story, whenever it appears ;)

It's so refreshing to read an original story that's not just Charlie as a girl, or Charlie has an aunt, stuck on the script of the movie.
Love your writing style, and love your characters, can't wait for more!
