Grunt and Jack are a great time - kindred spirits, absolutely - and I think you have both of them down beautifully here, as well as a detailed and realistic scenario.

I liked this a lot. I love character interactions between the Normandy crewmembers sans Shepard, and this was very good in that regard.

Grunt especially is one of those characters people could just ignore, so it's impressive that you came up with a suitable story for him.

Jack is one of my favorites from ME2. In a way she's one of the most honest characters. Maybe too honest. You should definitely do more with her.
