wewewewehhhh, that was adorable and finland sjfgcsiovx w this was a simplistic, cute one-shot, however I think you used the adverb 'slightly' too often. Unless it was for effect, and if it was I couldn't tell (sorry!). Your writing style is great, and it somehow managed to make suck a fluffy fic. The word in my mind for your writing style is 'mature' (like, more mature for this type of story), but that's coz I can't think of any other word right now... Ah, well. Sweden&Finland ftw!

Ah! It's so sweet the way Sweden gets flustered over such a relatively innocent kiss! When I got to the ending I actually went back and reread the other paragraphs because I thought I'd missed a more makey-outy kiss earlier. xD This is cuter, though! It's like the little transition period from Finland misinterpreting Sweden's intimidating aura and Finland understanding the way he really is.

I got a little confused at some parts with the name-switching; at first I thought the human name usage was supposed to indicate the intimacy of the moment, but then it seemed to switch back and forth more rapidly? Though that was a relatively small problem compared with the tight-knit writing of the rest of the story. It's probably just me, haha.

So very cute! I loved it, not at all a fail ending!

To be honest, when I saw this story already posted in the competition, I freaked out a little, which is why I haven't read it until now.

Anyways, back to the review...

This story was very cute, to say the least! It is a really nice view on the beginning of a relationship and really captures the first buds of romance between two seemingly different people. I can't really say that Finland acted like Finland or that Sweden acted like Sweden because I don't know the characters well enough to determine their proper mannerisms in particular situations. In order to sort of balance that lack of knowledge, I will say that both characters were portrayed nicely in the event of this situation happening between two admirers.

And even though you said you thought the ending was terrible, I thought it was a nice and proper way to leave the reader wondering how the rest of their relationship might pan out, if there will be one. It was a nice, easy read, and with little to no grammatical or spelling errors (that I could see.)

Oh my gosh I think I got a cavity from how sweet that cute.

This is a very cute story! I like it.

But I'd still like to point out one small thing. The title,'Nokkonen tee', is actually written 'Nokkostee' in finnish. (I'm finnish so that's why I'm saying this.) It's just one of those languages you can't always translate correctly with dictionary.
