I feel the characters have been portrayed very well, as in my head i was reading the dialogue with their accents and it all seemed to flow very naturally! Please PLEASE keep writing this! I think, if Alfred is going to join the regular workforce, having him whip up coffee at a cutesy, patriotic independent coffee shop is so much more fun than having him work at McDonalds. No offense to McDonalds employees, but I just expect Alfred to be really down on his luck and underpaid if he works there, lol. So I love barista!Alfred, and I love lonely, fastidious England...and I'm mildly concerned about the hinted Franada because didn't France just try to rape England in an alley? I'm all for heroic America and skeevy France, but I'm not into skeevy!France woos innocent Canada and rapes people in alleys on the side, lol. Then again, you didn't actually SAY it was France, so it could be some other random French person. But whatever. Don't care as long as Alfred asks Arthur out on a date soon! Well-written, fun plot, great start. Can't wait to see where it goes! |
