Aww... this was such a pleasure to read. I was skimming through some of the older Code Geass fics and... glad I found this little morsel of sweetness! It's very well-written, exciting yet calm and realistic at the same time. And you carried through the sweet flavor of Britain that I so miss! I actually spent a term abroad in London (I'm from the States), and it was a pleasure to see the little bits of Britishism and mentions here and there throughout the fic. -

That was... much better than expected. Thank you. So much of it rang true, and it was wonderfully understated. It's not often I come across the exact perspective Lelouch offers in his parting with Gino, and it definitely resonates well. I'm glad you chose it over the more commonly victimized side. I read an article not so lately that related how the person who does the rejecting in an imbalanced emotional exchange can actually suffer more as a result of it, harboring guilt and regret, while the person who wants, tries and fails is likely to have a cleaner aftermath. And the little things - all the little things- in this romance were soft and thrilling and well-written. Lastly, the interactions in your story are between people, more than they are between specifically gendered people, which I particularly appreciate. Great read :).

I'll have you know that in my head, you are most certainly a british exchange student in the states. Great tone and utterly believable. And now, I continue!

the romance progressed at a realistic pace and their friendship was enough to entertain us until then. A lot more refined than the usual yaoi stories but i'm guessing that it's the lack of smut, but it was good, really good. Like you wrote about affection and stuff and you described stuff but it wasn't obscene, it was exactly what i was looking for, well done :)

I don't even know what to say except that this was brilliantly written! I couldn't stop reading it. You captured their personalities so well. Not to mention I adore slow romances, it makes everything seem so much more relate-able. Suzaku is so cute in this, somehow he seems so innocent. Loved it!
