Oh damn, this is great. I thought it was so cold, the way Mike told Kay that he didn't kill Carlo, and I was sure she couldn't believe him completely, no matter what she said. I think you really captured what their relationship turned into, with Mike lying and doing whatever he wants, and her turning a blind eye and trying to pretend he's still the man she fell in love with.

Man, I like this story a lot! It is so unusual to see a fanfic of this length that is totally convincing and totally draws the reader in. Not only that, but you proved in a dozen ways that you had seen the movie and watched it closely many times for details. Great job!
