I SAW THE HALO REFERENCE. Sorry, I got excited. I'm really liking this story and when I read that bit, I did a double take and wondered the odds of it being a coincidence.

Anywho, you write nicely and the tension is so thick I could just suffocate. i greatly look forward to reading the rest of this.

Good ending to a story. Looking forward to more Mass Effect fics in the future.

You wrote another solid chapter. I liked the action scenes in this chapter. It was not over the top. Just right where I can follow it and not get confused or distracted. Well done. Very ironic how you chose to kill the Phantom, but probably the best way to go.

I know that Richard had very little time in the story, but I kinda of pitied him at the end. It is true that Miranda is the creator of the monster. However, I love the part where Miranda cries and says, "I'm sorry". Really shows that Miranda is not heartless and the way you wanted to write your character. I like your interpretation of Miranda and she very well written.

Also, I am glad that you are moving away from the fighting and moving forward with this story. The fighting was getting a little old. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy the action scenes, but I want to see you move away from the action into something new. Don't want to stick with something for too long or the reader starts to lose interest. I want to see the fallout of the story and a little bit more of the evolution of Miranda and Jack's relationship.

My opinion. I don't think you are rushing the relationship of Miranda and Jack. I think it has been steady throughout the entire story. How I see it still is that Jack has some animosity towards Miranda, but not as bad as it was in the beginning. They'll help each other when needed, but I don't see them going shopping together or becoming BFF.

I enjoyed reading this chapter. I appreciate the amount of effort you put into the science of biotics. I like the action scenes in this stories. It is not over the top. It is perfect that it doesn't get confusing. I also enjoyed the logs you wrote. Can't wait for round two of Jack vs. Jack Clone. I love the reference of Cadmus Cell to Project Cadmus. Thanks for this chapter. I was wondering what happened to Mordin and Jacob. I thought this was a nice sidetrack away from Miranda and Jack to grow the anticipation for what is going to happen to them. I like the little joke by Jacob and unexpected from him. Last, you have done a great job writing all of the characters. Very impressed and I shall be awaiting your next chapter.

I finally got the chance to read through Best of Enemies. I will admit that I was hesitant about reading a fic about Miranda and Jack. As the old saying goes, "Never judge a book by its cover." It was a bit slow in the beginning chapters, but around Chapter 4 or 5 the real action started to come out. Now this is really addicting to me now. It is a refreshing story from those just about Miranda and Shepard. Fascinating why the heck the Phantoms look like Jack. Can't wait to here why. I also wonder when you will get back to Mordin and Jacob. Interested in what happened to them. Well continue the great writing.
