I love your stories about Stunticons, especially ones about Wildrider and Geri. In fact, thank to your stories Wildrider is my favourite stunticon and even decepticon ever. I can't help buy cry every time I read your stories about him and Geri. It's... it's so perfect, so cute, so sad, so adorable. Stunticons I have misssssssssssssed you! Nobody writes you the way mommy Marian does! All the little touches like Breakdown winning at hide n'seek, and Drag Strip being jealous of that, and Dead End telling Wildrider what the diamond's name was mope whine etc, made me want to cuddle them. That's what I love about your Geri stories - even though this one-shot was from her perspective, it didn't once feel like it was all about her. She was just a way to show off the Stunties and their crazy littlest bro, Wildrider. I wish more authors could write OCs that way.

Poor Geri, though. How is she ever going to handle mailing a Hope diamond back to the Smithsonian?

I absolutely love the way Wildrider described stars. It was so nice and tactile and wonderfully crafted. And it was nice to see Geri, for a little while, get trasported to another time and place with the necklace. Very sweet story. Thanks.

Wow, thanks very much! Coincidentally, my own birthday will be in a few days, and this anticipated gift will have me celebrating since today :o)

Now to the story. For starters, I love the way meeting Wildrider has modified Geri’s life, and not only because she befriended a Decepticon, but because she befriended Wildrider. I mean, now she has to be prepared for his sudden appearances, which can make a mess in the entire neighborhood if she’s not immediately aware of them. I would love Wildrider making donuts on my garden!

There’s also the tradition of Wildrider giving Geri ‘uncomfortable’ presents… and the way she manages not to make him feel bad when rejecting them. Not an easy task, though, as Wildrider is very sensitive and can easily get hurt, especially by those he cares about.

One good thing about Wildrider is that he may be crazy, but he is always serious. I picture his brain the way Homer Simpson’s is displayed on the show, only that Wildrider, instead of having a donkey sleeping inside, has an eternal party of firecrackers and music. I loved it how he must have done his homework and found Marilyn Monroe during his search for the perfect gift for Geri, although in his case, he may have bumped into Madonna instead.

Geri handled the situation with the expertise that knowing Wildrider as well as she does has granted her. She may have hurt his feelings, but she also drove his thoughts toward places she knows he enjoys. As a Gestalt, one could think that Wildrider has nothing left to know about his team, but Geri always finds the way to make him realize new things about his bond and about the world that surrounds him.

And Geri has her own share of discoveries as well. Seeing the world through Wildrider’s eyes… that’s just, wow, unique.

I can’t tell you how much I smiled :o) And you’re right, we will continue missing a certain couple in TF: Prime… but right now is not the time to get sad. Your story detonated colorful fireworks in my day, so I’ll stick to my inner Wildrider and enjoy them.
