there are a lot of inconsistencies in this. for one, if ichi's such a genius, then he doesn't need to announce it every five seconds. no amount of intellect can make him a captain class shinigami in four seconds. it may have not occured to you, but genius refers to the state of mind, not physical or spiritual strength. also, him knowing how to do healing kido by pumping spiritual pressure into a wound? that makes zero sense. in canon, like with the shiba's glass orb, pumping a ton of energy into something makes it go boom, not makes it better. healing kido isn't like an attack. this was just sort of dissapointing.

Everything was great about this story... until this chapter. You sped through a lot of content which isnt terrible but you basically skipped a lot of time specifically when he meets urahara after rukia is taken where you couldve empasized ichigo's genius and this stories uniqueness but instead defaulted to ichigo's canon moronic nature. Also, you've kinda equated his genius with combat prowess. This story is exciting because of the genius aspect of seeing Ichigo think things through and essentially making him stronger faster and him finding different ways to fight. I was looking forward to seeing Ichigo look past Uraharas facades and plans and questioning him about who he is and questioning the other denizens of the shoten. Honestly even his zanpakuto should be different. Im not saying make up an OC zanpakuto but Zangetsu should have suitably more utility than just being a cleaver that shoots energy blasts. The zanpakuto is a part of his soul and should reflect his intellect as well. Take urahara as an example, he's a genius and that shows in the complexity of his zanpakuto. Benihime has a certain amount of pride in her repertoire of abilities and her releases reflect Urahara's capabilites of being able to dismantle opponents in several different ways.
Ive long since past the reasonable size of comment for a dead fic such as this where you probably wont even see this but i wanted to put this here anyway.

A genius doesn't need to announce he is a genius every other paragraph, and a 'genius' will let his actions do the talking.. like Aizen.

Can you imagine, power House Ichigo with Intellect of Aizen.. now that is what you call a genius.

I REALLY didn't like the scene you did with Renji. You made him a REAL shithead and bastard. Not only did he lose and instead of walking away with his captain and going back, YOU made him come back to talk trash when he lost and was about to be killed...

If you was going to make that scene I expect you to KILL renji now! You created a more antagonistic Renji than canon where in canon he was almost the same at the beginning but you took him further into being a asshole character. In canon he was slightly less of an ass and was able to come around to becoming friends with Ichigo, however here you made him a complete ass and he cannot be redeemed into becoming Ichigo's friend and ally. If you don't kill him the your fanfic will become worthless in my own opinion and I will drop it. hopefully you learn that you can only take something so far in context before it is completely screwed that you make your characters unredeemable.
