Love it how you wrote it that he found her, because he always finds her. Love it how she didn't call for back-p or him to go with her, just because she didn't think it was needed but he still made a big deal out of it. And I can't even imagine how he felt when he found her like that. Same as her mom. Bleeding in the alley. Oh my.

Loved the kid they have here.

And oh, so so so much love.

This totally reminded me of the type of one-shots Joy (Int08) usually writes. Little stories that keep the reader guessing till the final twist is revealed. So good!

This was adorable, I loved it! So glad Kate wasn't too seriously injured, and it was lovely to read a tender moment between her and Rick. :D I was a little put off by the way they talked about their child as 'the kid', but maybe that's just me being terribly English? I don't know, struck me as a weird way to talk about your own son or daughter but like I said, might just be me. :P

I really loved this, thank you for posting! It was just what I needed to calm me down after the Always promo! :D

i'm not sure what my emotions r while reading this, its heartbreaking and sad over how she is in the hospital and how castle sounds so sad, distress and trying to convinced himself over and over that she is fine. But it also so so heart-clenchingly beautiful at how they mentioning the kid, their home, and saying partner, always and i love you. ACK! you make my emotion a jumbled mess. Dammit, chez, don't you ever stop.

ps: I can see how the birthday girl is so happy with this gift btw. I bet she even jumping up and down in her sleep. lol. 3 3 3

Yup, it was not what I expected. I did like that they have a son in the future! Great one shot and I love the cranberries! Zombie has been stuck in my head the last few days because of last night's awesome episode!

Oh wow that I'd all sorts of stuff to me reading that! I felt Castle's emotions so well my stomach actually churned with fear!

I really liked that it wasn't what one coveted a d that you revealed it slowly over the whole story. Lovely.

Now, lets be honest...u could have written that aliens landed on Central Park and that Beckett had been the one coming with the crazy theory that MIB were behind the whole thing and i would have still loved it, but instead you wrote a beautiful fic that not only sets them in a relationship, but with a kid!

But the most beautiful part of it is the fact that you set us up to pick up small bits and pieces of info that slowly form the background and storyline of this piece as we keep reading! It reminds me so much of "fences"!

The line "she is everything now" just hit me hard! And made me think about how things will be for them once they finally open up to each other...it will be so hard for him specially, because there's no way he will let ANYTHING happen to her no matter what! And with him investigating her moms case it will mean he himself will not care the dangers he may get into as long as he keeps her safe!

...and the "mayday"? May-day. Ha ha ha...witty!

...remind me not to play words with friends against you. Lol. (Though u could help me beat someone who keeps beating over and over)!

I hope you know now how happy this bday present made me! It means soooo much. :) and will cherish it "always"
