Reviews for A Life worth living: an Edward and Severus friendship story
Sweetie7smiled chapter 8 . 5/5/2019
Very neat! It seems Dumbledore is, coincidentally, already setting up for how his school will be taken care of in his absence, by talking with the Cullens. I'm curious to see how they will blend into the activities of Hogwarts. It's interesting to see the some of the events of canon described from Albus' point of view, some in a way I had not considered before. Thanks for writing!
PastOneonta chapter 8 . 5/5/2019
I enjoyed this! Dumbledore was excellent and his narrative was exactly right, sharing what was essential, what he could share, and keeping confidential select pertinent facts. I like his relationship with Edward who he knows is reading his thoughts but can be trusted. The references to Umbridge were just enough to learn how detestable she is without exaggeration. The display of magic was lovely. Welcome back! We know you are busy and real life is always the priority. We appreciate you writing and thanks for the chapter.

Welcome back! How exciting to see an update on this story! It is so unique, so entertaining! And like your other stories, so well written. The characters are excellent. Emmett has been a lot of fun. It's nice to see that Jacob and Reneesmee are happily married.

I look forward to their conversation with Dumbledore and learning where the wizard community is in its defense against the Dark Lord. Is Harry at Hogwarts yet? I could figure out the timelines but I think I'll wait for the next chapter.

We know you are busy and that you would not have delayed this story but for real life. Just write when you can, we appreciate it.

Very neat! Thanks and congratulations on the update! I'd been hoping to see you out and about again soon. :) It's nice to see this all from the Cullen perspective. I really like the respectful dynamic they've got going with Albus; it sounds rather exciting, like all kinds of good things could come from it. Thanks for writing! Glad to have you back. :)

I s'pose they're in the Forbidden Forest, huh?
SandraKaye chapter 6 . 8/14/2016
Great start I can't wait to see where this goes.
SandraKaye chapter 1 . 8/13/2016
I am ready to begin a new story. I read one of your stories and loved it...but sadly I didn't review. I will now. So off we go.
PastOneonta chapter 2 . 12/4/2015
Interesting, again I appreciate your writing style. Edward would be confused by their thoughts. Rosalie was funny, "is that really his name?". Looking forward to catching up!
Smootsmokey chapter 6 . 10/6/2015
Keep going
Sweetie7smiled chapter 6 . 10/1/2015
Wow! Thanks for the update!

Jacob's massive excitement about the new house was rather unexpected and fun to read.

I wonder what Aro has up his sleeve, to be inserting himself into their lives like that. He knows far more than he should, to have touched anyone's hands again. That was unexpected and definitely unwelcome, after the stunt they tried to pull the last time previous. No one owes him any favors.

Ah well. I'm so glad they're all set now to meet up with Hogwarts! I'm very curious to see how you'll handle it, and what they'll discover. Looking forward to it! :)
Jibson01 chapter 6 . 10/1/2015
Hey, welcome back! Great chapter, though I'm kinda suprised they really were able to stay up to fourteen years in Forks. Edward,Bella and the rest of the Cullen children must not have showed their faces in public for most of those years then.
Hunting-I'm guessing they're hunting in an area of the forbidden forest?. Looking forward to what the next chapter .
PastOneonta chapter 1 . 10/1/2015
I saw the update to this story and was reminded of how much I enjoy your writing and how I intend to read the crossover. It looks excellent, entertaining, and crafted with care. I appreciate that you are still writing and I look forward to catching up.

Love the idea! Glad your making my firstever crossover!
Trixie's mom chapter 5 . 1/15/2013
Very interesting pair of stories. I'm looking forward to following them.

As is often the case, Rosalie gets painted as a fairly unlike-able person here. That being said, I had a chuckle over her complaint about the "sixty minutes they'll never get back". Ohhhh...poor immortal vampire...wasting sixty minutes of ETERNITY! Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Poor lil' thing. I can understand her suffering. The hour would otherwise have been spent sitting in an airport terminal (before an intercontinental flight no less) and you just CAN'T do that often enough! {rolls eyes}.

Wonderful chapter!

I liked how you pointed out the advantageous differences Edward has in dealing with undiscovered wizards, over those of his family, because of his talent.

I don't think that getting hit by a spell would be the -only- way to know whether magic would affect them. Alice & Edward together might be able to -inadvertently- discover such a thing, in relation to any spell with an -obvious- outward effect: Unknowing as to what the spell would do, Alice could have a vision of the spell's contact having no effect... while at the -same time-, Edward would have heard what the spell was meant to do, -before- he chose to get out of it's way. If both of these facts were ultimately recognized to be of one and the same person/spell instance, then they'd have their answer... -without- anyone having intentionally gone into harm's way to get it. Too bad legilimency and obliviation aren't spells guaranteed to have such an outward effect. ;) Very curious!

Their conversation with Edward about the internal reality of Severus' psyche, was touching. I'm so glad they understand now, and it was neat to hear it all so clearly spelled out. :)

Fascinating insights! and attitude on Edward's part in recounting (or not) the experience of his rebellion. Nicely written! Great job! :)
