I'm a Peeta fangirl, so I'm often looking out for those really good stories that best describe him his ability to 'understand'. I think Madge would have been his female version. This really hits the spot, I'd originally consider Prim, but, Madge in the book was intriguing. Definitely a great 'what if' story, makes me almost want it to be canon., Just to make those Seam people drool and wish they'd taken their chance with the Merchants when they had it. xD

That was literally the best story I have read in like the last 5 years of stories on . you made me cry at the end and when a story makes me cry its amazing.

Wow! Words can't express how much heart-breaking this one shot is for me. I have always love reading Peeta/Madge friendship and this story perfectly captured how I would have wanted their friendship to have been like. That part at the end just broke my heart.
