you are my hero. your stories are the ones that made me ship USCan hardcore and with the way you write, it's impossible not to. what i love is how it had an inspiring and optimistic ending and i really do hope that they get to love and grow old together. i'm glad i finally got into reading this because at first i was scared it's gonna end up in tragedy like what often happens in your one-shots (not that they aren't freaking beautiful and amazing and wonderful that way though). good job on this really. i hope al and mattie end up having a happy ending. :)
