I know this is very old, but still it’s a great fic and it’s no wonder why this has so many reviews and follows. It’s wonderful and the characters feel real. They feel true to themselves and I’m absolutely loving it. One day I will get through all the chapters but today I’m only on the 2nd. Great job! Don’t know if you’ll ever see this but this is great.

This was such a beautiful, well written piece. I'm obsessed with it. You did a fantastic job and you really captured Johanna's character and given her a story that needed to be told. I was crying by the end of the last chapter, it was just so heartbreaking. In the Hunger Games, it's assumed that Johanna suffers a lot, but the main center is always on Katniss. It shows Johanna as a girl who doesn't take no for an answer and is not afraid to be a badass. She's not afraid of the Capitol or making mistakes. You're story truly captured the reasons behind it. It's because she has no one left. Everyone she loved was taken, and that pain was beautifully depicted in this story. I've never felt so moved by a piece of work, since the Mockingjay from the series when Katniss and Buttercup cry over Prim's death together. You took Johanna's pain to another level and it was amazing. Readers now understand her own past and how she is the unsung hero. This ending was abrupt and although I know readers would like for it to continue, I understand completely. She's the sun and she's going to glow and burn, and that is the perfect ending for this story of the little girl who once was a princess now tormented into an empty shell. Thank you for writing this beautiful piece, thank you.
