Yes! Usually, in some stories, the kiss between these two characters occurs after several chapters. That's why I appreciate this happening so soon.
I like the idea of other continents, that he chases her and realizes what she feels.
Madge's idea of agreeing to marry that guy doesn't please me, but adds some drama.

Wow, read that all in one night and I have to say that it was very very enjoyable. Okay, I LOVED it. This is one of the only fics I've read where the couple is separated from each other for most of the fic. Yet, their chemistry and Gale's love for Madge was stronger in here than in almost any other Gadge fic I've read.

It takes a lot of talent to get your readers to even care about two "lovers" who are separated. It takes even more to get them to root for said couple. And it takes an other-worldly kind of talent to make us rabid and desperate for them to get together.

I loved all the chapters, and how you had Gale interact with all the people whose lives Madge touched. I love how tangible his connection to her is throughout the story, and how he learns more about her and falls more in love with her without actually meeting her. And the last few chapters were absolute perfection. Gale's and Madge's reunion was touching, sensual and emotional. I thought it was fitting how much Madge struggles to stay in one place, even with the man she loves. And how hard it is for both of them to finally truly trust each other. The way she and Gale work through it was perfectly paced. It wasn't dragged out too long, but it wasn't short either.

All in all, a perfect Gadge fic. Wonderful work! 5/5 stars :D

I love Amicus and Pulch's names. If I remember correctly, Pulch is pulchra which means beautiful and amicus is friend? Anyway, I just found that funny.
