This is so pitiful. Like, not that your writing or the plot is pitiful, but the fact that the Once-ler has never had a birthday is pitiful. Do you get what I'm saying?

I've read this story before, but I just realized I didn't leave a review! Shame on me for not doing so because this is the best lorax fic I've read here by far! :D

Everyone's in character, the situation is believable and I can truly see this happening in the movie! I actually wish it was in the movie! That's how well you've done this little fic! I hear the voices of the characters and its just so moving! All the emotions blend beautifully here! It's got humor, sadness, suspense, and heart!

This may sound random to say, but you touched three relationships that I enjoy. Once-ler and The Lorax's possible friendship (love the dialouge at the beginning with Once-ler and the Lorax especially!) The little moment between Once-ler and Melvin warmed me. I always thought that mule cared deep down for his owner. Once-ler with Pipsqueak was precious! Grade A story :)

I loved it. I favorite A LOT of stories, but I NEVER favorite authors. I'm favoriting you as an author.
Your characters in this story were SO in character it's phenomenal. I was squealing with glee every other paragraph from how much I loved this story. It was so well thought out and perfectly planned. I could actually picture what I was reading and I am disappointed something like this isn't a short for the movie (looks like I have some emailing to do. Haha just kidding). I was having a hell day and this story made it better. Thank you for this story. I love it so much! :)))

Dawwwwww... Oncie! (fangirl squeal) It was so cute! By the way you should make a sequel where Oncie explains why no one made him a cake. :)

Wow, you really got the Once-ler's personality down! I could see and hear his every line, which is really difficult to do. I really like it

Sweet and tragic, how sad! But I'm glad he finally got a great birthday :) I like the never ending optimism but ball of sadness you made the Onceler. He doesn't let anything get him down here, so it makes the reveal even sadder. Nice job

That was very well written. No obvious errors that I could see, not overrun with detail or speech, but a nice balance of both.

It really was such a sweet idea that the animals had for Once-ler, and I quiet enjoyed the 2 breakdowns he had (sad, and happy), as well as the little Freudian slip Once-ler had with saying he wasn't worthless instead of the thneed.

Enjoyable to read, and now I shall go look through your page to see if any other story catches my fancy lol :)
