This was a nice, light read but I felt like the plot had more potential. Draco and Hermione's relationship moved too fast as well.

Well, let's start with the important things: I really liked your story. The plot was very creative - Mr. Pureblood being nearly a muggle, wow! When decided not to load after chapter 16 it was very annoying :(

Although I really did appreciate your story I have to say a few negative things:
1. Draco made a 180 change. That for itself isn't bad, but it was to fast. The reader (or at least I) needs more time to understand, because in my opinion no one changes that much just because of the press. There have to be other reasons, reasons which should have been explained.
2. Harry, Ron and Malfoy have been enemies their whole lifes - and that changes at ONE party and they get BFFs? This needs more time, too.

I do not mean this as an affront, my only purpose is being helpful, so that you know next time that you should go more into details.
Keep writing and stay as creative as you are!
