Reviews for Sorrow
Doc M chapter 1 . 7/3/2017
Poor, poor boy… This always upset me in the book. Alec wanted to do the right thing; he's loyal, generous; he's always there when needed, always trying to help… And all she does is hurt him, emotionally and physically, because she blames him for Angel being a hypocritical git. Alec breaks my heart: one of Hardy's most poignant tragic heroes because he's not overtly flagged up as such, but "under the radar", with his kindness and loyalty and mischievous sense of humour; putting on the 'bad boy' act to pull girls, but incapable of the double standards, and active cruelty of Angel.

That was nice I think Alec had a human side he was only too selfish most of the time. I think he would've done that if he knew about the son.
Krysten chapter 1 . 7/5/2015
This made me feel things for Alec that I never thought I could feel. I hate him but I also hate Angel. This gave Alec a wonderfully human side, that wasn't present before; beautiful.

ah i love alec! (I'm completely aware that that's something concerning though haha) so this was wonderful! But objectively speaking, I really thought this piece is great for showcasing the demented but real nature of Alec's obsession and love
