I would just like to say that as a Minnesotan, your information is slightly inaccurate. While the are people who speak with a Minnesota accent, they generally live up in northern Minnesota nowhere near the U of M. I've lived my whole life in Minnesota and can drive to the U of M and have never met one single person with a "Minnesota accent" also the accent was off also by the fact that we accentuate our O's turning them into Oh not ooo so the spelling portrays the wrong accent as well. I'm not mad, just thought that you might want correction from someone who lives in the area, for a more authentic and accurate story and setting portrayal.
