I enjoyed the short story, but I didn't get the jump from 'I've lost something' to 'come on an adventure with me'. And for the sake of clarity I kind of assumed it was set during a returned-for-an-8th-year setting, otherwise I couldn't picture Hermone leaving Harry and all his daunting problems.
