This is great! So Austen like, the story through Mary's eyes. I always wondered what she was doing while the rest of them were dancing. ;) Again, the writing style is great. Too often people try to recreate Jane Austen and it doesn't quite work out, but I'm intrigued!

I really like it! Only you should maybe add more "wise remarks" found in books or in the Bible to make the story even more plausible. I am sure Mary would have written down whatever remarkable she had found in books or heard.

LOVE IT! So many great one-liners that I'd never before thought Mary Bennet to make, but they were fantastic. Looking forward to the rest of the story (especially how you interpret her view of Mr. Collins and the whole Lizzy/Charlotte debacle).

Great behind the scenes look at a chaotic day at Longbourn. It does seem rather crazy to turn your house upside down like that just for one visit, and it was rude of Mr B to not even introduce them. Or maybe it was a good thing...lol I love Mary's dry humor.
