Oh man, I remember first reading this in 2012! Great chapter and great story, hoping to see more of you!

This has been amazing! I forgot that I had this in my favorites so I had to reread everything and it's been a wonderful rereading. I love the new update. Especially the part with the kids fighting and Katara's "Oh my god!" Hahaha hilarious! You are such an amazing writer! Go you! Its fine if you cant update that quickly. Life happens and some stuff you prioritize over writing fanfics. I can understand that. Take your time and write whenever you feel like it. Ill always be here waiting for an update no matter how long it takes. You've got yourself a fan. :)

That was a refreshing chapter! I'm not even sure I have read the previous chapters, but I did love this one! I'm a bit sad we didn't get into contact, but everyone has a life. So I don't really know what the hell to expect. Anyway, I had a good time reading the chapter and I'll read the others too! Have a good night!

I had to do a double take when I saw you update this and holy ravioli was if amazing. Everything from the interesting political shit about the laws to Lin making her mamma breakfast! Too cute and sassy to boot. I hope inspiration strikes you again one day soon. (School keeps me disgustingly busy too I know all too well the struggles of being handcuffed to textbooks and early morning labs)

Even though I don't support Toph/Sokka I love Toph/Lin mother/daughter moments so I have to follow this :)

I love this. It is so opposite from my own head canon, but I love the way you tell this story. I like the moral ambiguity used here- I think its very valuable to tell a story in which good people make 'poor' decisions and show that life isn't always clean and easy, but can still rewarding in little ways.

I think Chapter 5 might have been my favorite so far- I really loved the bit about Lin waiting for Sokka to turn up again to cry about her gray stones. The imagery was exceptional first of all, but the inferences about her relationship with Sokka and her understanding of Toph's disability were fantastic. I've often wondered when she first realized Toph was blind, because I agree Toph would have done everything to make Lin believe she was no different than any other Mom.

I also got so excited at this last part where she first interacts with Tenzin- its so innocent and sweet, but I already feel some kind of heaviness in that moment- like the understanding of fate, I guess.

Lin's school song is adorable and I have to commend the way your write children- I think that's rather hard and people tend to make them too mature or too immature, but you've hit the right balance for me.

Your writing is fantastic, but that goes without saying! Anyway, I can't wait to read the next chapter!
