Guest chapter 48 . 8/25/2019 acceptable · trustworthy · reliable · dependable · sure · good · valid · feasible · viable · tenable · sustainable · maintainable believable · plausible · able to hold water · within the bounds of possibility · reasonable · sound · compelling · persuasive · suasive · assuasive · verisimilar Parts of this story were all these variations of Credible. Some stuck out as very much not along any of these lines. The whole character of Bobby fell short when he was made to be a medic with super powers of anything medical. Medics are EMT's. Not nurses or doctors or physical therapists. With everything else he was doing and allowed to do, it's more surprising that he didn't run the image scanning machines, too. I read up until Ranger asked Stephanie to move in with him after only knowing her for a super short period of time. There were, also, a great many monsters in this story that had to be controlled by super internal powers of those in charge of keeping them under lock and key. Was this supposed to be a fantasy story? Be careful of your word choices. There were words used that mean something completely different than what you had intended. You repeated things and the story was very drawn out. Oh, I nearly forgot. Refrain from using actual dates and years (numbers) in your stories. It makes them more adaptable to today and yesterday. Remember, JE had book 1 published in 1994 and the characters (main) were in their thirty-something years already. She doesn't put actual years in her stories, but includes the technology of the time (which dates the stories). Just some suggestions, years after you wrote this. I hope you are still out there writing and learning. |

tanyaleigh chapter 14 . 2/19/2019 I admit at first I was struggling with the story because of my preconceived notions of the characters... It was hard to let go and just absorb the story... But, I'm really starting to dig it! Its very well written and flows well. |

Lorraine chapter 48 . 5/29/2018 You can't just leave it there! Who is after Ranger? Why? How does he handle it? What did he ask of Cal & Hector? How does Ram like his collar?! So many questions left unanswered. I hope you continue this story in a sequel |
honahlee chapter 48 . 12/20/2017 Okay, you just leave us hanging? Not fair! Where is the sequel? Also-yes, I have read your other stories which my husband is planning to read next. Fanfiction is a family favorite here. A suggestion and explanation: Through my many years (77) I have become aware there are several differing types of reading skills. Some readers, such as my husband, dear friend, plus others read fast, quick, devour a book within hours, but not me. They seem to read in blocks, reading page sections in a glance. Again, not me. My reading speed is slow, reading one word at a time, |
