Well, you set up this fic to answer a question that I'm not sure anyone actually can. Taking a look at events in the series to find the answer was a good idea, but I'm not sure that we really get any sort of an answer to Sano's question of identity. I'd say, out of any character in RK, Sano probably has the biggest identity issues... He's a walking contradiction sometimes, and I think he knows that. Thanks for writing this piece, but I don't think anyone (including Sano) can answer this question. By the way, Karina's right about the kanchou thing. :)

Nice and short introspective piece. Didn't really answer the question of "Who is Sanosuke?" but left it vague. That's good because I still see the man as trying to find his identity. Did you know you've got it set to not take anonymous reviews? *smiles* Also, the address by which Sanosuke normally calls Sagara is "taichou", while "kanchou" can also mean "captain", I do believe that the latter is only used in a formal situation where the parties don't know each other well enough. I think "kanchou" stands alone, but don't quote me on that. I'm basing that off an Evangelion episode _ Keep on writing!
