Anonymousme chapter 1 . 12/10/2018 Oh, these are snapshots from some of your stories! I love this! |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 6 . 10/16/2018 OK, I chuckled a good bit at that one. Reminds me of that game "Telephone" from decades ago. Just how gossip works, too. Truth told with humor. These next two seem to go together...but that last line about the tigers is creepy. Talk about motivation! As for the actual test, what Peter did is called ingenuity. :) I love how both Edmund and Aslan have compassion for all, down to the tiniest and weakest of creature. But tell me-was the butterfly turned to stone as well? Or was he just dead? Those pesky Calormenes...but Lucy's feisty. She's got this. Besides, Oreius could just stand there glaring at him the entire time. :) For some reason, whenever mermaids are mentioned, I think of "Peter Pan". :/ But poor Edmund. How embarrassing. It's horrible for a guy to be embarrassed in front of ANY female. Not every kind of pride is bad. :) I wonder why the song "So This Is Love" popped into my head reading that? But, who was the "plump, dark little woman"? I'm a firm believer in the concept that everyone is responsible for their own actions...but I can see how Peter felt. That means he's a good brother. Creepy. Fog is creepy. And how would you even fight a Wraith with a sword? Maybe it was simply the fact that they had something solid in their hands that was comforting. Creepy. But then, Aslan. :) Excellent. I'm sorry I've finished reading them. :/ And I do hope you can write some more of these some days. |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 5 . 10/12/2018 Now THAT is a noble monarch. Showing love to perhaps the lowliest of his subjects. SORT of reminds me of the widow's mite. And again, an amazing monarch, and older brother. ...you didn't warn me about this one. :/ What a sap. (Darreth, not you). That was pretty intense. :/ Little Lu is a tough cookie... Hey-what's wrong with pixies? :O Ooooohhhh, someone's gonna get an earful. ;) But then, maybe not. ...OK, I see what you mean. Well written, though. :/ HA! Poor Susan! I guess it depends on how old and mature they were at that point, but still. Why was I thinking of a Caribbean breeze? ;) |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 4 . 10/11/2018 King Peter the Cuddly...sometimes, I think it's good to be alone in life. :) "Susan decided to wear something else." Perfect. Who wants creepy old men leering at you? Especially Calormens. If that's an ordinary day, I'll take about a thousand of them, please. :/ Dry Dryads...makes sense. ... Awww: High King Peter the Softie. :) But really, he was just being an exemplary monarch. A judgement worthy of Solomon himself. I hope that wasn't a talking horse. :/ So at least he listened to Mr. Beaver. Beruna was like Bull Run: two battles at the same place. But Bull Run was in the same war, and Beruna was about a thousand years apart. Excellent, golden glimpses of the Golden Age. |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 3 . 10/10/2018 I should hope there weren't any Gryphons in Finchley! Can you imagine what would happen to them? ;/ (Heh: Finchley. Twilight Zone: "Why DON'T you get out of here, Finchley?" Wascally wittle wabbit! Sneaky lil Eddie. :) I think "Faith" might be my favorite one so far... Uh-oh...better add "Gluttony" to Ed's list of sins. :) Also, I use the term "Brother mine" in my story, too. Like, my original story, not FF. Those Gryphons are a great natural resource. They were pretty good in the battle in the live action LWW, too. But, I keep wondering what that battle would have been like if the Narnians had had an A-10 Warthog on their side. Witchy poo couldn't have turned THAT to stone. Too bad she wasn't as dumb as the witch from "Puffnstuff", too. (Hey, I'm a guy-we love battles and speculating about them) Midget isn't politically correct: it's "Tiny People" now. Or something. And hey-pride goeth before a fall, amiright? :) Not a talking mouse, I take it? Or else, a really big boot? Bears are pretty cool. Again, not bad to have as a guard. Poor Lucy. I take it that was from soon after they became the monarchs? Mer people to the rescue. And oh boy, another one to go read now. ;) |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 2 . 10/10/2018 Those little bees..."spreading tales as freely as pollen". Golden bit of writing. :) Dadgum...Lucy is brutal! I like it. ;) Actually, the fever made him see the true reality. Mermaids are pretty. You've no idea how badly I wanted to go to Narnia when I was a kid. :/ Part of me still does. War, while sometimes necessary, is never good. :/ Peter was a good king. Benevolent...that's an understatement. And yet very true. All that rigamarole for a simple picnic. :) Can't be too careful, though. Poor Edmund. All that nasty (for a human) food, and a mean big sister! :O All I can say is...(and you might hate me for it)...women. :/ |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 1 . 10/10/2018 Wow. At times humorous, at times dark, at times bittersweet, and all the time well written. As usual. If this first "chapter" is any indication, I've pure reading joy ahead. :) Perfect. |
Guest chapter 5 . 8/13/2017 Request for stories of the Queens being warriors too (perhaps a little adventure with just the two of them?). Also, more Darreth and Lucy if you please |
VICTORIA111 chapter 1 . 3/17/2017 Please extend stray! |
Guest chapter 6 . 5/8/2016 Like BUTTERFLY too. |

Blackwind137 chapter 6 . 7/21/2015 I liked skin and pride, honestly- those aren't the only ones I liked, but those were the more recent ones. But all great/adorable/heartbreaking- all what they needed to be. |
Rosy-Fingered-Dawn chapter 6 . 6/30/2015 You are such a good writer! How can I get so drawn into a story that is only a few sentences long? -Rosy |
quarterhorseranch chapter 6 . 5/6/2015 Yay! :D I especially love Leg, Test, Skin, and Fog. |
