Great POV, really fills in the blanks that the HBO series leaves out. I'm loving the characters too, spot on!

I'm really enjoying this story so far. I just got caught up on season two and was really captured (pun mildly, after-the-fact intended) by the Gendry and Arya plot line (not hurt be the fact that I loved him as Chris). Anyway, it's fun to read the story through his perspective, and it seems like you've balanced the his authentic interest in her with his removed sense of camaraderie really nicely. I look forward to reading more. :)

I love your portrayal of Gendry and think it's pretty much spot on! If only Arya were a little older and this would be so much more fun, but alas! You add enough strength to their relationship to keep me hooked ;D Well done and well written, I look forward to the next chapter.

Lovely, I like the Gendry POV.. Any chance of doing a Tywin one though? He really is expressionless in the episodes and I'd like to know what's going on in that head. Also, are you keeping canon? Because I'd love to see you going off course by having Robb survive, arya kill Tywin or even her running away with Gendry and Jaqen (he's a favorite of mine) to Robb changing the course of the war when everyone takes the Lannisters for a laughing stock for having let the Stark princess run away... Okay, I'm rambling, whatever you end up writing, I'll probably read it...

No au at all. Quite the contrary. Their last exchange, him just throwing out all those questions at once. So Gendry! When I read fan fic halfway through a chapter I lose Arya and Gendrys voice. It simply becomes a voice but I can no longer hear the actors voice in my head, if you know what I mean. Sometimes I stop mid chapter and rewatch their 2x02 scenes to get their voice back in my head. Your fanfic is the exception. This chapter was so good I could hear Joe and Maisie all the way through. I also loved the bit about his subtle brazen sabotage. It's quite clever :) update soon!

great chapter! im kinda sad that they have been neglecting arya/gendry scenes in the show but hopefully we will get some more soon :) cant wait for the next chapter
